Janet Howe is the specialist Family Planning Nurse. All the above nurses do reviews of patients with chronic diseases (asthma, diabetes, heart disease, hypertension) as well as cervical smears, treatment of minor injury, wound dressings, ear syringing,  vaccinations and immunisations, travel vaccinations and advice.  They provide health promotion including advice on diet, weight and exercise.

The team of Health Care Assistants do all blood tests ("phlebotomy") including the near patient testing INR (Warfarin) tests.  They also do ECG tests, routine blood pressure monitoring, new patient checks, audiometry tests, and spirometry tests.   Karen and Janice have also been trained as Support to Stop Smoking Advisors.
